Contraindications
This treatment may not be right for you if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active lip or mouth infection, have a bleeding or clotting condition, tend to scar with raised or thickened marks, have a known allergy to tattoo pigments, or have used Accutane in the last 6 months. If you get cold sores, please tell us in advance — the needling can trigger an outbreak even if you haven't had one in a while, and your provider may recommend a short course of antiviral medication beforehand as a precaution.
